Hai,

I have WebSphere Portal Server running on a Win 2000 server, integrate with LDAP and it works. However, when i try to access the portal through other machine, the icon didn't displayed as it is. For eg, icon for Help, Forgot Password and others. I wonder
why it happened like that. Do we need to configure anything in our machine/portal server in order to access the portal web page correctly? I did change the hosts file to the host name of the portal server.

Apperaciate it if you can help me. Thanks!

No, you shouldn't need anything on the client machine except the supported
browser level. So I would check the following:
1. Access the portal page always with the fully qualified host name;
2. Check the support browser types and versions.
3. If the above are correct, please provide the information for your portal
version and other components.

Thx for the reply. FYI, i do access the portal server via hostname of the portal machine, it just that the icon didn't display as it is in the client machine. Browser version is: IE 5.0.

Below is the detail of the portal machine:
1. Platforms: Windows
2. IBM Websphere Application Server Advanced Edition 4.0 + Fixpack 2 - support authentication using LDAP.
3. IBM HTTP Server 1.3.19.1
4. DB2 Universal Database, Version 7.2 with Fixpack 5

Hope you can help me. Thx.
