Portal and LDAP OU

| My customer is noticing that Portal server does not seem to recognize the OU as a valid key in an LDAP directory sturcture. Can anyone either confirm or deny that this is a known issue? Shouldn't Portal server be able to key on the OU?
Thanks.

| There isn't anything in portal that prevnets you use "OU" in your Domino
LDAP, as far as I know.
You need to verify a couple of things before you try to install portal with
a user ID containing OU.
1. Make sure you can use ldapsearch to find the proper user id with the
correct base ("-b").
2. Make sure you specify the correct Base DN in the security configuration.
If you can authenticate WebSphere Admin console and snoop servlet with the
user id, portal should work the same way.
