WebSphere Portal Server - Configuration script...

Refrence: IE -> Tools ->Internet Options -> Connections -> LAN settings -> Configuration script.

The configuration script in my desktop is different than the configuration script in the portal server.

If through my browser I try to access the portal server I get the error: DNS name lookup failure.

If I change my IE's configuration script to be the same as portal server's IE's configuration script, I can access the portal server.

I do not want to change the configuration in the desktop. Can I configure the portal server to use the same configuration script as the one in my desktop.
