Listed below is the error I am receiving in the wps logs. I created a
standard MVC portlet using WSAD v5 toolkit v4.3. I do nothing to the
portlet. I receive the error when I try to install it.

2003.06.11 14:28:12.247 org.apache.jetspeed.portletcontainer.PortletLogImpl
error(String, Throwable)

com.ibm.wps.portletcontainer.managers.PortletApplicationManagerDeploymentWar
FileException: invalid portlet.xml -
'uid=TTProjectWAR.200040c22b9c001710d9f2f27ed01064' for portlet-app:
'TTProjectWAR application' is not unique in the system. It conflicts with
portlet-app: 'TTProjectWAR application' which is registered with same uid !!

Joe

It looks like you are trying to install a portlet which is already installed
(TTProjectWAR). If that's the case, you can either deinstall or update the
existing version of TTProjectWAR.
