What version of WebSphere supports both Portals and launching from a debug environment

I am using the following version of WebSphere:
"Advanced Edition for MultiPlatforms version 4.0.4".

I have installed a version of Eclipse which is using the MyEclipse plugin that can startup a WebSphere application server from within Eclipse for the purpose of debugging.

However, I have been told that the AE version of WebSphere does not support launching from within debug environments like MyEclipse or WSAD for that matter. I have read that AEs (single server) and AEd (development version of single server) do support deb
ug launching of WebSphere.

Anyway, my question is, what version of WebSphere do I need to purchase that supplies Portal support AND debug launching? Is there one? If so where can I download such a version? The AEd version used to be free but I can't find it anywhere.
