Author Having Trouble Adding New Skins/Themes (WPS4.2)

I have 3 existing portlets that I need to implement using a new
theme/skin. The new theme/skin was sent to me in the form of 2 zip
files - 1 for skin, 1 for theme. Unzipping the skin zip file resulted
in a folder called TGSkin containing several .gifs and control.jsp.
Unzipping the theme zip file resulted in a folder called TGTheme
containing .gifs, .jpgs, a css stylesheet and some jsps.

I copied the TGTheme folder to
<wp-root>/app/wps.ear/wps.war/themes/html and the TGSkin folder to
<wp-root>/app/wps.ear/wps.war/skins/html.

I then logged into the Portal and under Portal Administration, Themes
and Skins, first added a new skin called TGSkin and entered TGSkin as
the directory name. (I thought it was strange that there was no browse
button for navigation). I then added a new theme called TGTheme
(entering TGTheme as the directory name) and selected TGSkin as the skin
for that theme.

This all seemed to work fine, except that when I then went to 'Work with
Pages' and selected the page containing my portlets, the new theme does
not appear in the dropdowns adjacent to the portlet names, i.e., I
cannot select the new theme I just added.

What did I do wrong?

Any help much appreciated...

- Dave
