RSS Portlet - can't configure per instance
|

|
| Anyone know how to configure the COTS RSS portlet in V5? The only place
I see to change the URL is in the portlet parameters. Problem with that
is it makes the new URL you put in global for any instance of the
portlet. I want to bring in several RSS news feeds, and I have no
option to change directly on the portlet, even after I give myself all
the appropriate permissions.
Any ideas?
TIA,
Lou

| Don't modify the base portlet. Make a copy of it for each Feed that you
want to publish. I have Yahoo and CNet feeds coming in through different
portlets, no problem.
