Hello,

I'm Anderson from Brazil, we are a business partner of IBM Brazil, and i'm trying to implant a portal based on Websphere Portal Server 5, following the WPS 5 Handbook, but now we have some doubts about the product.
Doubts like, why must we leave everybody to run agents restricted/unrestric java/lotusScript agents on Domino, giving " * " as parameter (number 17 of page 134 of Websphere Portal Server 5 handbook)? Would be possible to implement it without " * " as pa
rameter, or any other kind of parameter? How? And how about File System security?

I haven't read that handbook yet, but I agree with you. You should only give
the rights to whoever need to have. You can simply test a few cases and see
if that works. If not, I think a PMR should be opened. Any requirements like
that would be a security hole, definitely prohibited.
