We are using Portal 5.0.2.2 in a cluster with Oracle as the database.
We would like to know if it is possible to do any type of portal
upgrade, either fixpack, interim fix pack, or efix (PQ fix), without
requiring us to populate the 6 database passwords portal requires in the
wpconfig.properties file.

Anyone know if this is possible?

We would like to use the datasources created in WAS for the portal
upgrades. The customer we work with do not let us have the portal
database passwords even though we are responsible for maintining and
supporting the portal. This is are real big problem for us.
