WebSphere Portal Server - portal 5.0.2 slow to login

Hi!

I just successfully install portal 5.0.2 and it start up ok. However, it
took me like 5 minutes to login as Administrator. Anyone experience this
problem before? Is there a way to find out logs on what is happening? I
suspect it is waiting for "something to get connected"

Global Security enabled using LDAP? Depending upon the configuration and how
much of the ldap must be searched, I believe this can impeed performance.

Try searching the support database for this topic. There may be some
information.
