I am using websphere portal 5, after I modified my portal login page
according to http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docvie...21104482&aid=3,
whenever I change user settings (e.g. password, language) in the "Edit my
profile" tab I get the error message "User subsystem failed. Please contact
system administrator."

What I do at the customized login is just to store data into the User
object. Any idea what's the problem?

My problem seems to be solved now. Actually my customized login add a new
attri ute to the User object, after I change the line
user.sync.remove.attributes=<my_new_attribute> in PumaService.properties,
the error message does not appear anymore. But I don't know whether it is
ok, any other suggestions? For example, any more files I need to edit?
