I failed to apply fixes on Red Hat for WebSphere Portal 5.0. I've tried 3 times and after that the Portal didn't work well and had missing portlets. Right now I have a running Portal and I went through the basic setup. However, I need to install all the fix packs before I get to the configuration. On IBM site I found a lot of pages that say different things and I'm scared to try anything becase it will take me couple of days to get back to basic setup. I just wonder if anyone would tell me the steps to install the fix packs for the WebSphere Portal Exress for Multiplatforms version 5.0.

do I need interim or cumulative fixes...???

Why IBM cannot make a simple explenation (with Microsoft it would be a one click). I'm sooo disappointed.

Anyhelp is greatly appreciated,
Les

Your post is not clear. What fixes are you trying to install?
