WebSphere Portal Server - Portal Test Environment-- no layout

Portal Test Environment-- no layout

Now that I have the Portal Test environment working I would like to change
the layout of the page like you can in the real portal. I'd like to deploy
some standard portlets and I would also like to do other things like setup a
couple of different pages. So far I can't do any of this. Can I do more in
the test environment or must I preview the portlets on another machine to
see them in context?
