I having a problem undrstanding this. I have configured the portal with ldap. Verfied it and users can log in. Now I'm trying to enable the lotus portlets. But when I try to stop the portal I get this. Can someone explain why. Again I can log in fine thr
ough the portal entrance.


WebSphere Application Server security is enabled. Enter the following informat
on:
WebSphere Application Server administrative user wpsadmin
WebSphere Application Server administrative user password 7523
ADMU0116I: Tool information is being logged in file
d:\WebSphere\AppServer\logs\WebSphere_Po
rtal\stopServer.log
ADMU3100I: Reading configuration for server: WebSphere_Portal
ADMU0111E: Program exiting with error: javax.management.JMRuntimeException:
ADMN0022E: Access denied for the stop operation on Server MBean due
to insufficient or empty credentials.
ADMU4113E: Verify that user and password information is on the command line
(-user and -password) or in the <conntype>.client.props file.
ADMU0211I: Error details may be seen in the file:
d:\WebSphere\AppServer\logs\WebSphere_Po
rtal\stopServer.log
ADMU1211I: To obtain a full trace of the failure, use the -trace option.

When I enabled Security with LDAP the default Administrative user for the server was wpsbind... do you have this user??? By default wpsadmin is the admin for the portal application... (of course you might have changed all this in your set up)....
