WPS 5 Test Environment Hangs in WSAD

| My WPS 5.0.2 Test Environment hangs in WSAD in "starting" state when I add
very simple portlets (using the toolkit wizard). The portal boots up with
no problem without portlets (I can login, use all the delivered
portlets/pages). I've looked at the WAS/WPS logs, but, nothing seems to be
relevant.
I have WSAD 5.1.1, and Portal Toolkit 5.0.2 installed. I'm aware of the
file name restrictions, so, the WSAD installation directory and workspace
directory are fairly short (i.e. c:\wsad and c:\wsadWS respectively). I've
installed all the PTFs/fixes as instructed in the Portal Toolkit.
Any ideas greatly appreciated!!

| Hi,
Apologies that I cant help you but...
Can you either send me those fixes directly or point me to the exact
urls...?
I am still having trouble finding some of them.
Specifically the following fixes
PQ81248
PQ78166 - is this a manual fix to a datasource? Do you use a cloudscape
database for Portal?
Your help would be greatly appreciated. I have searched high and low on the
IBM website! (PartnerWorld etc.)

| I never got this feature to behave correctly either. I've resorted to simply exporting the portlet in a .war file, switching over to the admin screen in WPS, and reinstalling portlet applications every time I want to test them

| Has ANYONE out there gotten the WPS 5 Test environment to work in WSAD
5.1.1?

Creating folder .repository
The J2EE projects defined in the server configuration are not
consistent with the projects that exist in the workbench:
The EAR project "PortletInstaller_PA_1_0_35" defined in the server
configuration needs to be fixed using the server configuration editor.
The EAR project "ThemesAndSkinsManager_PA_1_0_36" defined in the server
configuration needs to be fixed using the server configuration editor.
The EAR project "contentlayout_PA_1_0_37" defined in the server
configuration needs to be fixed using the server configuration editor.
The EAR project "Properties_PA_1_0_38" defined in the server
configuration needs to be fixed using the server configuration editor.
The EAR project "Managepages_PA_1_0_39" defined in the server
configuration needs to be fixed using the server configuration editor.
The EAR project "FrequentUsers_PA_1_0_3A" defined in the server
configuration needs to be fixed
......
Any ideas greatly appreciated

Portal Toolkit 5.0.2 was revised on 2/03/2004.When you download the
newest portal toolkit 5.0.2,you can find PortalToolkit_Install.pdf.
And you get what you want in that book.
Remember uninstall the old portal toolkit 5.0.2 , reboot and install.
good luck

| WSAD 5.1.1 does not support Portal Toolkit 5.0.2. WSAD 5.1.0 does though. |
