I just finally got Websphere Portal 5.0 running with WAS 5.0.1. I managed to start Websphere Portal in Debug mode so that I can connect REMOTELY to it from WSAD. However when I try and access the Portal main page http://server:9081/wps/portal remotely, th
e server literally shuts down with no errors in teh logs. Any clue on why this is happening?

I got this link where the user says he reduced the JDK compliance level to 1.3...how do I do this?
