I'm trying to export my "HelloWorld" basic portlet into a war file, using
the export dialog. It will not export and gives the message: "The
destination file should end with a .war". If I add the .war:
HelloWorld.war, I get a different error message: Project does not exist or
Invalid project nature. Enter a valid project name

I am using WSAD 5.1.1, WAS 5.0.2 with fixes, Toolkit 5.0.2, WPS 5.0.2 with
fixes. Since the TestEnvironment does not work in this environment, I must
be able to export to run the portlet.

I am building the "HelloWorld" basic portlet as outlined in Redbook
SG24-6076, "IBM WebSphere Portal V5 A guid for Portlet Application
Development", which create a New Project, Portlet Application project, and
takes the defaults for a basic Portlet.

This turned out to be user error.

The export dialog has two fields:
Web Project: MyPortlet
Destination: MyWarFile.war

I was not filling in the destination value.
