Guys,

Mind if I ask a question about installing Portal Toolkit:

Have either of you seen this popup message when trying to run
PortalToolkit502MP.exe:

"A suitable JVM could not be found. Please run the program again using
the option -is:javahome <JAVA HOME DIR>."

I have scoured the web + groups, and not found a satisfactory explanation.
Furthermore, I can see through a file monitoring utility that the installer
is looking for my JVM here:

11:03:16 AM PortalToolkit50:2556 OPEN C:\Program
Files\WebSphere\AppServer\java\runtimes\
base_v5\java\jre\bin\java.exe PATH
NOT FOUND Options: Open Access: All

But this path does not exist! Here's what it should be looking for:

C:\Program Files\WebSphere\AppServer\java\jre\bin\j
ava.exe

But I do not know where it is getting the former path, or how to make it
find the right VM. Any ideas?

Thanks
Steve

Hello,

You need to install WebSphere Studio product to work with Portal Toolkit
since the Toolkit is a bunch of eclipse plugins running on the Studio.

WSAD or WSSD V5.1.0 is required for PortalToolkit502MP.exe.

See the README or the installation guide in the exe file.
