Hi all,

I have a C2A application that works perfectly however, I dont appear to be
able to create a wire within the development environment (hold CTRL). I am
also unable to install the C2A wiring portlet. Any ideas or is this just
the way it is?

Kind Regards,

Tony Gallardo

Portlet supports C2A does not necessarily mean you can wire that portlet.
Portal InfoCenter
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/pvc/w.../wpsc2acnc.html
indicates, to support wiring, the source portlet must register output
property, which is not necessary for C2A to work without wiring.
Probably your portlet does not register output property.

And, if you are trying to install C2A wiring portlet to test
environment, you just cannot.
The FAQ on http://www.ibm.com/websphere/portal/toolkit is updated
recently and answer to Q22 says you cannot install portlets to
Test Environment.

Thanks for the response...

The portlet does register an output property. When I export the application
from WSAD and install into my WPS environment I am able to create a wire
using the wiring portlet so I know that wiring between the portlets works
fine.

I guess if I am unable to install the wiring portlet into the test
environment then so be it but should I be able to use the CRTL key to create
a wire in WSAD?

Kind Regards,

Tony
