Does yours freezes every couple of hours?
Mine does.

I am using
JAVA Sun 1.4.1
IE 6.0
Windows XP pro.

Content Management and Portal are on the same Windows 2003 Server Machine.

Thanks for your help.

I was thinking it only happened to people who install it on the same server...

umm... I think this is some other issue unrelated to same server...

I am still waiting for the reply back from IBM support...

I think all these problems are exist because it is their first version...

IBM purchased Aptrix back in July 2003 and renamed Aptrix JPE (Java Platform Edition) to "Lotus Workplace Web Content Management". It isn't their first version, as it has been around for a couple of years. Beverley Hills Council (http://www.beverlyhills.org) were using the JPE version (2.x.x), up until recently, and now use LWWCM 1.1

I've noticed that you are running Java 1.4.x (and obviously JRE 1.4.x). I think you'll find that LWWCM 1.1 doesn't support JRE 1.4.x and it is recommended to use JRE 1.3.1_09 or 1.3.1_11.

I recently had some problems running JRE 1.4.x and Windows XP, however, rolling back to JRE 1.3.1_11 cured them.

I believe a "fix" will be available shortly for LWWCM 1.1 which will be rolled into LWWCM 2.0 (due out in the next couple of weeks).

What are the symptoms? Are you receiving a JavaScript error on the "Launch" page? Are there any messages written to the Logs (in the WAS directory)?

Pete.

Correction - The following versions of JRE are (apparently) supported:
JRE 1.3.1.03
JRE 1.3.1.06
JRE 1.3.1.08
JRE 1.3.1.09
JRE 1.4.0.01
JRE 1.4.1.05

However, I'd still recommend using JRE 1.3.1_09.

Note: Web Browser Default JRE
To prevent conflicts with other programs, the default JRE in your Web Bowser should be unselected.
E.g., In Internet Explorer, do the following:
* Go to Tools-> Internet Options->Advanced.
* Scroll down to the Java (Sun) parameter.
* Uncheck the box

check the install options for JIT settings:

JITC_COMPILEOPT=NQOPTIMIZE{com/aptrix/util/ReadWriteLock}{readLock};NQFSESCAPE{com/aptrix/indexing/*}{*};NMMI2JIT{com/aptrix/indexing/*}{*};
