| Hi all,
Im using portal 5.0 with cloudscape database i want to migrate it to remote
DB2 server, so I installed DB2 UDB 8.1 Admin client with fix pack 5 (DB2
server is with 8.1 version and applied with fixpack 5) and started
migrating to DB2, unfortunatly im getting error while creating the database
in Remote DB2 saying that "command invalid for this node" and the final
result is BUILD FAILD.
can any one help me out to migrate to Remote DB2
Thankx

Have you tried the WPS Infocenter - this would help.

| I have the same problem. And i need the same configuration.
My Websphere portal server on Unix
DB2 on Windows NT
I install DB2 successful and created all needed database and user.
But the world indo Infocenter document: "WebSphere Application Server,
WebSphere Portal, and the DB2 client will be installed on the same
machine"
I don't understand completely what does it mean "DB2 client"? where I
can find it? how install it. And hoe work with DB2 under Unix. On the
IBM.COM document about DB2 on Unix is temporary unavailable.
Please inform me about how you solved this problem?
Thanks
