Hello!

I'm install Lotus Domino server 6.5.1. And I have WPS 5.0
And configured ldap and SSO, created wpsadmins group with wpsadmin and
wpsbind as members.
All seems okay
I can registrate new user under Domino server. And I can login to the
websphere portal under this new user.

But
1. All users have the same rights: as wpsadmin so other created with
Domino user
2. I can't see link "administration" after login on Portal

What is a problem?

Thanks anyway

i still have no link "Administration" for Portal Administration

Hello again!

My Story have be continued, if you have no tied yet :-)
I still have no administrative link. But i have links as "edit page",
"add page" with opportunity to change portlet, add new portlets and so
on. It's very advantage.
If you interested about how a did it. I would tell you about it

I installed new version of WebSphere Portal on the pure system. I had
all administrative portal link. Congratulation. My next step in my
investigation was "<ws-portal-root>/config/wpsconfig.bat
disable-security". It was okay too. My last step was
"<ws-portal-root>/config/wpsconfig.bat enable-security". And what do
you think about it? Yes. I lost my administrative portal link. I do
"update USER_DESC set name='cn=wpsadmin,o=test' where oid=10 and
"update USER_DESC set name='cnwpsadmins' where oid=11", it seems okay.

I have no idea what is the problem?
Does anybody have? Thanks for your attention and any help.
Best regards
SVK

We also lost our Admin link when adding a group to do Administration for portal. Only the original secured ID will show the link.

If you find out what the problem is please post it. We are still trying to figure it out too.

I solved problem.
Problem was that when I manipulate with security (enable | disable)
WPSconfig create additional records in database (cloudscape or DB2
never mind). there is a problem.
You need check database an remove all left over records.
Link which helped me and I believe could help you too:

Good luck. Please inform if its will no effect for you ;-)
