Thank you for the reply.

I'm using DB/2, via a DB/2 client installed on my Solaris server. I can connect to the databases using these commands:
/WPSconfig.sh validate-database-connection-wps
/WPSconfig.sh validate-database-connection-wmm
/WPSconfig.sh validate-database-connection-wpcp

I also already have the db2profile command specified in my setupCmdLine.sh, so that shouldn't be an issue either.

What is the "JDBC XA sql file" that you speak of? I can't find any reference to it in the documentation?
