Hi,

I'm currently using Portal against a Novell eDirectory but my customer now
doesn't want to have
to login into the portal. He wants to use the same Windows user used in the
windows login process.

I want to know how can i do this and what are the requeriments that this
has. I suppose that i will
have to use IIS but i don't know if i will have to use Active Directory as
well.

Thanks in advance

If you are using Tivoli Access Manager the solution is
pretty simple. Install TAM plugin on IIS. Your traffic
should first hit the IIS machine. Now as long as the user
credentials come through the browser for kerberos
authentication, IIS will detect that and the TAM plugin will
generate a valid LTPA cookie for you. You need to then make
sure you redirect the request to WAS, which will now find a
valid LTPA token and continue to function as usual...

No explicit Login should be required if you setup the
browser properites.

Hope this helps.
