Hi,
i've installed websphere portal v5.0.1 and lotus workplace web content management 1.1.1 Java edition. it was successfully installed. Then I tried to apply the quick guide to using IBM Lotus Workplace web content management content in a portlet. so i created stages, workflow, framework, page design... Then i wanted to configure the content portlet in websphere portal, and after configuring portlet settings, the credential tab, and the links tab i wanted to configure the content tab but i face the problem that when i clicked the edit button the following message appears:

exception: no manifest section for signature file entry com/aptrix/client/images/ajpe_icom_cmpnt_resource.gif

i want to say that i installed websphere portal and ilwwcm under linux (red hat entreprise 2.1) but i'm trying to configure the content portlet from a windows environment (remote machine). because under linux i can't download the applet java.
please if you've encountered this problem or you have an idea about it tell me.
thanks
stride

Hello,

I fought with the same problem. Found an answer, though it was not so obvious... Hopefully the below one helps you Worked for me in almost the same problem...

- - - clip - - -

1. Use winzip (or the jar util) to extract the file named
AptrixClientApplet.jar from the ilwwcm portlet war file
(wpsV5-j-ilwwcm-Cportlet.war). The AptrixClientApplet.jar file contains the
class file shown in the error.

2. Copy this extracted jar file to the ilwwcm portlet installed apps dir (ie
C:\program
files\websphere\PortalServer\installedAp
ps\wpsV5-j-il_m-Cportlet_PA_1_0_S5.e
ar\PA_1_0_S5.war\applet), replacing the one that is currently there.

Also, clear the jre cache by going to the Windows Control Panel, open "Java
Plug-in", and click the clear button under the "Cache" page.

This is a known issue with ILWWCM, but is not dependant on the version of ILWWCM.
The issue exists in WAS and is addressed in PQ76313.
It can be downloaded from the following URL:
