Does anybody have a solution for IBM documenting the incorrect OID value to
use for creating the preferredLanguage attribute in Microsoft AD?

We created the attribute exactly as described by IBM and are now unable to
upgrade to AD 2003 due to a conflict with Microsofts (and the RFC's)
different OID value.

I have tried disabling the attribute and renaming the RDN using ldifde but
since AD is still at 2000 none of this works properly.

Note if anybody from IBM is listening the document is still on the web
see(http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infoc...fg_msad_wp.html)
and is still incorrect. PLEASE FIX IT TODAY !

Note that we have had the portal schema change for preferredLanguage in
production for over nine months so rolling back is not an option.

ANY HELP GREATLY APPRECIATED !!!

You should report this through the Support line.

http://www-306.ibm.com/software/support/

so they can guide you in fixing the problem and correct the document if
needed.
