Hi,
I'm sorry if this question has been asked before.
I'm using Portal Toolkit 5.0.2 and I put my portlets in a page. But each
time I restart the server the page is empty and I need to edit the page
again and insert my portlets.

Is there any way to preserve this page with the current placement of
portlets in it?

Thanks in advance,
Yossi.

You are talking about the WebSphere Portal Test Environment ?

Well, the page is created dynamically containing your set of portlets
in your application. You have to select your WebProject, right-mouse
click, "Run on server". This will create the page containing the
portlets for you.

Thanks for the fast response Maik,
After i run the application on the Test Environment I actually get a
blank page where I make some changes to it - adding portlets, reordering
the portlets, removing some, etc. Can i save this modified page or
should i do this customization each time i restart the server?

Thanks,
Yossi.

I'm not sure when, but I think the similar question was asked before and
short answer is that is not supported.

In the test environment of Portal Toolkit, all portlets are removed and
installed at the time of startup. There is no way to maintain portlets
or layout after you stop test environment.

The Rational Application Developer, successor of WSAD (or so I heard),
has Portal project. Using Portal project, you can create page and place
your portlets then run that portal project in the test environment.
