WebSphere Portal Server - Login Form in Theme

Login Form in Theme - Crashes on wrong usr/pwd

Hi,
I'm working with Portal 5.1,
I have a theme which includes this Login form :

<form method="POST" action='<wps:url command="LoginUser" />' enctype="application/x-www-form-urlencoded" name="LoginPage">
<input name="userid" id="userid" type="text">
<input name="password" id="password" type="password">
<input type="submit" value="Login">
</form>

It works fine when the usr/pwd is correct but when either the username or password is wrong it crashes.
Is there anything I can do to trap whatever is happening ?
