How to display excel in portlet

Hi,

I need to display a Excel file(.xls) file inside the portlet. Is there anyway to display the excel file to display with in the portlet.

I believe you cannot display excel content in portlet directly.
for this you need to define servlet in portal server and generate xls content in the servlet.
You can define iframe with in portlet and point to that servlet. I did similar thing pdf instead xls.

if you want to display just something simple the document viewer that is included with portal will allow you to do this
