Changing Default Login Page on WebSphere Portal 5.0 and 5.1

Hi!

All I want to do is to add combobox to my default login page. I've already done that on WPS 5.0 where I changed Login.jsp. But how to save the selection of the combobox? Which files do I have to change to do that? And how do I do that on WPS 5.1?
