we have requirement to use portlet and enable a websphere portal security and i am new to protlet concept.i am written my own LoginUserAuth.java it extends com.ibm.wps.engine.commands.LoginUserAuth in that doAuthenticate() can i invoke my Custom Member Re
pository implementation that internally call my Custom Registry implemetion class to validate the creditials supplied by the user with the Directory.could you please anyone suggest me my understanding is correct. or how i will call my custom member reposi
tory class on user click on submit in the login.jsp page.

Websphere Portal 5.1
Websphere App server 5.1
Proprietary Directory Server.
