Hello Wytte

Do u have any idea on integration between TAM TIVOLI ACCESS MANAGER and WPS ? If we make integration when we hit request to hostname/wps/portal will it take to default login page or login app within TAM ? if we get wps login will it still do authenticati
on against TAM ?

If you can help me then it will be great

Hi Palnil

If you're using Tivoli Access Manager with Portal Server then the login will usually be handled by a WEBSEAL reverse proxy server. So if you make a request to hostname/wps/portal, you will be presented with the WEBSEAL login form (which can be customized
with your own look and feel).

WEBSEAL will verify your login credentials with TAM, and if everything checks out ok, will pass you through to Websphere Portal.

You will still be able to login with the wps login, but this will happen through WEBSEAL, and you will have to import your Portal users and groups into TAM first. If you're using TAM and WEBSEAL, you won't use the default Portal login page.

These redbooks are quite useful if you're going to be using TAM, but I don't think there's any information on using TAM 6 yet, only versions 5 and below:
