Portal 5.0.2.2 and WBI SF - where are SF Fixpacks ??

| From the IBM website, it states:
"The following WebSphere Application Server versions are supported with
WebSphere Portal version 5.0.2.2, however it is recommended to upgrade to
WebSphere Application Server 5.0.2.6 due to fixes in the area of session
management which are not present in earlier versions and are known to affect
the long-term stability of WebSphere Portal in a production environment. For
this same reason, if you decide to run WebSphere Business Integration Server
Foundation it is recommended to upgrade to version 5.1.0.5."
Specifically "IBM WebSphere Business Integration Server Foundation Version
5.1.0.5 with SDK fixpack"
Yet when I go to the support site I find only an upgrade to WBI/SF that
brings me to 5.1.0.1.
Can anyone please tell me what the "5.1.0.5 with SDK fixpack" really means
and where I might find it ?
Thanks SO much !!!

I just finished an install of Portal 5022 on WSAS 5.1 with WBISF today.
I did the Websphere install some time ago and can't remember where I
found all the fixes but they should be available here
http://www-306.ibm.com/software/web...rv/was/support/
FP5 for WSAS 5.1 and the SDK update are separate updates that are both
installed using the Websphere Update Installer tool. 5.1.0.5 is
Websphere appserver 5.1 Fixpack 5 and the SDK fixpack of course updates
the appserver 5.1 SDK
Use the latest update installer you can find (also on the support site)
Here is a link to Websphere 5.1.0.5
http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docvie...s=utf-8&lang=en
As far as i know there is no WBISF 5.0.1.5. When I start the admin
console my server reports "Websphere 5.1.0.5" and "WBISF 5.1.0.0" (I
think, I am not at the office now so I cannot check)
Once the appserever is installed and all the fixes are in place only
Portal CDs "Setup" and CD2 are require for a Cloudscape install on
Windows (the platform I used)
If you uncompress the portal cds in directories like this
\Portal_5022
\Setup
\CD2
and run install.bat | .sh from the Setup directory you should not even
have to answer a prompt for CD2 since it should be found automatically
(at least this was my experience)
It is probably a good idea to perform all the possible Websphere updates
before installing Portal

| I guess you need to setup the WAS instance from the WBI directory, not from the WAS directory. You'll end up with a WAS instance that has WBI enabled. That instance will be recognized by the Portal installer.
