Hi,

i developed a JSR-168 Portlet for WebSphere Portal (5.0.2.2).
When i am doing the installation, after choosing the *.war-file a summary is
appearing before continuing to install.
In that summary the name of the portlet application and the names of the
containing portlets are displayed.

For may JSR-168 Portlet the application name is not available ("Application
Name not available for this Application").
Where and how do i have to provide this name?

In an "IBM-API-programmed" portlet application this name is provided in the
portlet.xml in
<portlet-app-def><portlet-app><portlet-app-name>NAME</portlet-app-def></portlet-app></portlet-app-name>

Does anyone know how to provide this name for my JSR-168 Portlet?

thanks for any help, regards, Tino.

Add the following line to the "Manifest.mf" file within the "META-INF" directory of your WAR file you are installing:
Implementation-Title: <Title goes here>

Example:
Manifest-Version: 1.0
Implementation-Title: Hello World Application
