| Hello,
When I start my portal environment is see the following in the logs:
[2/17/05 9:27:40:551 CET] 4f939fa5 ApplicationMg A WSVR0200I: Starting
application: RichTextEditor.war

Module: RichTextEditor.

[/wps/richText] [Servlet.LOG]: SimpleFileServlet: init
[2/17/05 9:27:41:132 CET] 4f939fa5 WebGroup I SRVE0180I: [RichTextEditor]

[/wps/richText] [Servlet.LOG]: com_ibm_wps_AdminServlet: init
[2/17/05 9:27:41:262 CET] 4f939fa5 SystemOut O Context initialized.
Because we are currently investigating a RichText component we are specially
interested in the one shipped with the portal environment.
However we cannot find any documentation of how to make use of it. Does
anybody know some good resources or examples about how to use this
component?
Please let me know.

| Hello Daniel,
the RichTextEditor components are integrated in the Portal Document
Manager. It uses the components for editing documents, spreadsheets and
presentations. I don't know if you can use the RichText components as a
single portlet. Did you had a look into the portlet management? Is it
listed there?

| Hello Maik,
I looked in the list of available portlets cq applications. But i didn't
find anything.
The rich text editor would be valuable as a stand alone portlet, but also if
it
is available in any other way; provided that there is an api
(+documentation) for use it.
Daniel.
