Okay seems that the portal side is OK.

However looks like the Domino Server is not picking up the SSO configuration.
Because when you logged in on the mail (your assumptions were right) the domino server should also present you with a LTPAToken cookie.

Look at your Domino Console, when starting the Server does domino print "Succesfully loaded WebSSO Configuration" ???????
