IE crashes with Portal 5.X & Sametime

Hello.
I`ve got a Problem with the Internet Explorer (WinXP sp2).
IE crashes at differrent times when i work in Websphere Portal. The IE seems to be freezed and then I have to kill the Task. Firefox & Mozilla are not supported by Sametime, so I cannot change the Browser.
