Form reset while error on uploading file

Hi,

I'm having problems uploading a file. The upload process works fine, but when I add validation for the max file size, a strange thing happens.
For example I have 2 text fields and 1 fileupload field. When I fill in the complete form and add a to large file, I get a error message (which is ok), but the fields are reset. It looks like this is due to the fileupload field.
Is this a familiar problem? Any clues?
