WebSphere Portal 5.1 on solaris 9 error

Hi, I trying to install WebSphere portal 5.1 on a machine with solaris 9.

When I try to execute the install.sh it presents the following error

./sunwpinstall: system error at line 1 '(' expected

and I don´t know what happend, the machine is a x86, I don´t know if a machi
ne Sparc funtion better.

What can I do?

I apreciate any help.
