Author Problem with urlGeneration

Dear Programers
I have a little portlet that uses the tag urlGeneration. It works fine on the WSAD but unfortuanetly it doesn't work on the portal server.
I have checked that the unique name that I specified at the contentNode parameter exists.

What else can cause to the problem?

Did you make sure that the User actually has appropriate access rights on
the target Page or portlet ?
Can you past the snippet here ?
