Author URL Mapping feature placing all contexts in /myportal

2005-06-14, 5:58 pm

Hi,

I am using the URL Mapping feature (in v5.1.1) for the first time. My question is with respect to how the portal forces all contexts to be accessible under /myportal.

So for example if I create a Context called "Shopping" and linked it to a page X that is present in the Root (a level above MyPortal) it still is accessible as http://servername/wps/myportal/Shopping and not

http://servername/wps/portal/Shopping
OR
http://servername/wps/Shopping

Is there a config setting that I can play with to control this or this is a irreversible configuration for the instance of portal server?

Thanks for your help in advance !
