Author The JMS Server security service was unable to authenticate user

I am getting the following error in SystemOut.log after switching to LDAP security (using IBM Directory Server) on Portal Server 5.1 with realm support (i.e ran "WPSConfig.bat enable-security-wmmur-ldap" to enable security):

JMSSecuritySe E MSGS0508E: The JMS Server security service was unable to authenticate userid: asdf

I changed user asdf to wpsbind (which is valid user in LDAP) but still same problem.

Previous install had security enabled without realm support and no problems were encountered.

Anyone tried LDAP with realm support on Portal Server 5.1? Any idea how I fix this problem?
