Author URL to Page and pass a parameter

2005-07-20, 2:49 am

I am trying to figure out how to reference a page in 5.0.2.2 portal from a static html page not on the same server and then also pass a parameter to the portlets on that page. what is the format of this url?

this is my page
http://localhost:9081/wps/myportal/!ut/p/.cmd/cs/.ce/7_0_A/.s/7_0_PB/_s.7_0_A/7_0_PB

but I want to access something like
http://localhost:9081/wps/myportal/...accountid=12345

I'm not familiar enough to tell you *how* to do this, but I know it is
possible. There is a way to set up not only "pages" in the admin, btu also
friendly "URLs". I believe that will do what you want. You basically set
up an alias for the page.

Regards,
Brian.

I created a unique name to the page that contains my portlets, but now what is the url for that page?

Maybe that could help you: http://www-128.ibm.com/developerwor...rum=168#1994175

I figured it out, you have to set up a URL Mapping in the Portal Settings
