adminconsole for WebSphere_Portal
|

| I am wanting to use adminconsole to monitor the health (status) of the applications deployed on WebSphere_Portal instance and not server1.
At present, the adminconsole which runs on server1 shows the correct status for applications deployed on server1 alone.
is there a way to achieve this without installing the deployment manager?

| I believe there is a way that you can reinstall the adminconsole.ear to a different appserver. If memory serves me, there is a technote or infocenter page that explains this. That said, I would be hesitant to install adminconsole.ear on the WebSphere_Po
rtal appserver. I'm not sure I would want another application competing with Portal for appserver resources....
