Author Question regarding the WSAD Portal V5.0 Test Environment

2005-07-23, 2:49 am

Hi all,

I have a question regarding to the WSAD Portal Test Environment. I need to use XMLAccess each time after I start the Testing Portal Server. As you know, Once the Test Portal SErver have been restarted, everything I customized will be lost(including ad
ded Portal Pages and it's related poRtlets). I need to redo everything each time or I need to run my XMLAccess script after the server had been started. Is there anyway to tell the server to load my XMLACCESS script when starting the server automaticall
y so that I can get all my pages back. I want to automate this tedious process for God's sake !!!

THanks

There is no way to do that.
Probably closest thing is to use RAD6.0.x, create Portal project,
customize project as you wish and run it in the test environment.
