Author WMM how to use non-default uid for user name

2005-07-26, 5:58 pm

We have a ldap in which has following attributes
uid
corpuid

corpuid is set as the naming attribute.

Portal is configured to use uid as naming attribute (RDN) in the manage user and groups portlet, the portlet on search by uid return a list of blanks. Essentially it is deducing the DN=uid=1234,ou=people,o=company.com instead the correct DN for the LDAP s
hould be
DN=corpuid=1234,ou=people,o=company.com

How to achieve this in portal?
Essentially the LDAP DN is different from the WMM DN for a user entry, and somehow the Manager User and Groups portlet, is trying to look up with incorrect DN.
