Can I do click-2-action or cooperative portlets like features if I develop my portlets according to JSR168 standard ?

I am new to portlet development and have a need to use the click-2-action feature for some of my portlets but have also read about the JSR 168 standards and would like to develop the portlets using those standards. But I would like to know the answer to t
he above question before starting the development.

Thank You

No, you cannot, at least for now. Portal 5.0.2.1 supports JSR168 API,
but JSR168 API has no Click-2-action.

Hi,
This is regarding creation of co-operative Portlets using JSF (JSR 168) portlets. You have mentioned in your article Developing JSF Portlets with Rational Application Developer 6.0 and WebSphere Portal Server 5.1, Part 1 that JSF JSR portlet can be enab
led for wiring by right click - cooperative->enable source. But when we try doing the same thing using Rational Application developer6.0, this option is disabled. If we create a basic Faces portlet this option is enabled. But it is disabled for JSF(JSR 16
8) portlet. Please suggest how to enable portlet to portlet communication incase of JSF (JSR 168) portlets.

Your help will be greatly appreciated as we are in a critical stage of the project.

Thank you very much.
