WebSphere portal 5.1 Installation problem

Hi,

I get problem in installing WebSphere portal 5.1, it gives error of:

EJPIC0007E: Operating System prerequisite check failed. Refer to the message log file /tmp/installmessages.txt for additional information.

Is that a Operating system error? I am using Linux with core: 2.4.22-1.2115.nptl. Does that means this Linux is not supported?
