Migrate into a Virtual Portal

Is it possible to migrate from an existing 4.x Portal Server into a 5.1 Virtual Portal? If so, does anyone know how it can be accomplished? I would assume that it has to do with manipulating the import scripts to use the Virtual Portal resources
