Hi!
In fact the actionPerformed is called first, then the doView, if in view mode ofcourse!

I would suggest you to investigate if you can use a filter instead. Also why put the response in the request? It's better to show in the interfaces what you are using instead of putting a map and pass it around.

And the attribute will be the same. The parameter might also be the same but why play with that one, user the setAttribute that's for objects.
